Hallows Eve
'Tis the howling wind and the twisted trees,
That whisper to the shadows in a tease,
The time is near,
Can't you hear?
Hallows eve haunts the air,
People to scare, candy to share,
Vampires and witches roaming the streets,
Crackles and cries carried by wind,
Alas the mere mortals do not see,
That the creatures they dress as,
Are as real as thee.
